All for one

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:28)

One of my favorite verses. Have you seen this Milly?

andreia,

I had not seen this. I'm not sure how I feel about women taking up what are traditionally men's roles in the COC. I know {{{Gasp}}} I’m being honest about this one, women as elders and ministers. I’m not at that place yet. I have no problem in other churches, I don’t think I’m ready nor is my church.

I was stunned the first time I heard a woman make an announcement from the pulpit. Now I have no problem with it. When I learn to do the stuff you guys are trying to teach me on the computer then I might be able to take a woman elder.

With that said I believe that the wives of our elders are just as important as the men are and I would more easily go to some of them if I need to confide in someone on some issues. We have some wonderful women at my church.

As for men taking up the “women’s roles” I wouldn’t know what those are because where I attend the men do a lot, leading the women’s ministry would be the only one that I can think of, hmm that might be interesting. :-}

I’ll noodle around that site it might answer some of those “Are women to remain quiet in church?” questions.{If we are I’m going to hell, I’ve not only spoken to the minister, I’ve spoken loudly}

Thanks :-}

Glorious verse! I wonder why we have such trouble acting like it is true?

I am not really for women preachers--but couldn't I just pass communion?
