"The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him."

Next Question
Patchouli asks this.
If women can't baptize men, why can men baptize women?
I know what I believe (Galatians 3:28), but I do want to understand your perspectives.
Because she couldn't dunk em without falling down? Because her wet baptismal clothes might seem to some like a wet tshirt contest? Patchouli- I can not answer this one other than to say I cant find any evidence to say that women should not be able to!
I agree with Andreia I see no evidence against it.
I'm not sure that I've ever given it a lot of thought until now. My thoughts are if I were studying with a woman and she wanted me to baptize her I'd see if I could set it up. Actually I could set it up rather easily, I'm not sure of how my COC would take it when the news landed on the congregation. I hate that some might cause a sister to feel as if she had sinned when it is such an important and wonderful moment.
I spoke to an elder and a shepherd about this and they both agreed that it would be fine for a woman to baptize. I guess it’s not a huge issue in my church after all. One even felt that you could baptize yourself. It’s about God not us.
