"The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him."
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
I will, of course not presume to second guess the reasons for this, but I will grieve just a bit that this has happened.
It is unfortunately a needful thing from time to time, yet still there is a melancholy and I think we leave a bit of ourselves behind.
However we have to die to that old life to fully embrace the new, and I do pray for God's blessings on this new path, and may He give you guidance and strength!
Milly, I want you to know first that God loves you still more than you will ever know or comprehend. I want to encourage you sis. You can be a strong believer and wonderful example for your children. Life isn't over. If you get depressed it is completely normal and don't think bad of yourself if you need meds. I take 'em. Know that church is more than an building but a family and support group. Find a Church that will lift you up, encourage, support and help you in any way possible. Know that your blogger friends are here for you as well. You will be in my prayers and if there is anything you need don't hesitate to let me know. We are brothers and sisters in Christ and will do anything for you because we love you and are family.
