"The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when he discovers that someone else believes in him and is willing to trust him."
~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
salguod, first off I thought the reference was to the "Good life" when Milly said "Isn't Life Grand!!" and since politics is a great part of American life, I really didn't see it as a switch. I sure hope no one thought I was questioning the greatness of God, evidently someone did. sorry.

Ditto that for me Laymond :)
Yeah, laymond--ditto....

No, I didn't think you were questioning. I just was commenting on how fast it flopped to politics. I guess I'm just sick of it all. :-(
No offense intended, I see how my snarkiness/sarcasm came across as an attack. Not my intention, please accept my apologies.
Laymond,
It's all good with me. You're at home in these parts. Most of us are sick of American Politics.
I never thought you were questioning God at all.
Salguod,
Didn't think it was snarkiness/sarcasm
I thought you just pointed it out.
I shows us how ensconced we are in politics.
Thanks boyz
